Through the years after Mardnab was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Mardnab's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by orcs. Mardnab was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the orcs.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
