History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: Kairon was born with his father's beautiful face. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered west to less war torn lands. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Like her mother and her brother before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Courier. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Courier responsibilities is difficult.

History: Her necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Halfling activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Halfling doctor. Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. A true patriot, Efferil would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it
