History: Born in the east her family was never financially stable. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Soapmaker hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

History: He was born in the south. Like his mother and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Priest. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Priest responsibilities is difficult; and further expansion of business

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She inherited a moderately successful company from her mother. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by giants. Volen was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the giants.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Nurkara grew up listening to her mother's many stories. Like her mother and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Locksmith. She tends to her Locksmith job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Motivation: She is unsatisfied with her job; and doesn't want to be a locksmith and was forced into it by her family

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and to share knowledge with the world

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. His parents enrolled him in a Cleric school at a young age so that he could practice his psionic talents. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
