History: Vola was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. Some 4 years later her spouse died after the birth of her daughter. Heartbroken, Emma never married again. Instead she focused her life to raising her daughter whom she trained as her father had trained her before.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: She speaks before she thinks and is too direct. She believes the world needs to unite to get rid of gnolls once and for all.

History: Born to a Laborer, her father struggled to pay the bills. She helped her father out around the business and became quite the natural. She now owns her own business.

Motivation: Her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and she desires to right it; and to prove her worth to the world

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Salasar was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Salasar's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Salasar fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

She refers to her adoptive father for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. She always admired martial-users and wanted to develop the talent, but never had the affinity for it. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: To pay off her debts; and marry her brother to traveling adventurers

He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Kite and his spouse have recently divorced.
