Her red hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. She is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: She hates illithids. She views them as having robbed her home of its proper glory. The war was a terrible time for her, and Portia does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious eastern family, she was no stranger to responsibility. At some point she was captured by illithids and was tortured. After several years of this she finally managed to escape. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

Personality: He likes to be helpful to his clients. He likes to prescribe proper advice to his clients. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: He was born in a small mountains village. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Elven companion (his 'brother'). He has worked as a Navigator like his mother before him.

Description: This slender woman stands about 4'10". She wears a yellow costume with the symbols of death on her torso. Her hair is cut close to her head. Her skin is flawless and her hazel eyes scan people very quickly.

Personality: She can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. She is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

History: The child of southern immigrants he idolized his father. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He struck the Armorer job and began his own company from there.

Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed nunchaku, just in case. He wears a feathered hat to cover his moderate length white crest. His eyes are a pleasant gold.

Personality: He will rave to anyone who will listen. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: He was raised in a plains tribe. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. She dropped out of school to support her sick mother, and resented it. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Her face is full, her cheeks are rosy, and she always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in her amber eyes.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Nogu will drive conversation. A fanatic, her devotion to her small selection of gods is unquestionable. She claims to be doing their will and will base all her actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Map Maker hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Nogu fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
