History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Through the years after Trail was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Trail's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Trail and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Melissa is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Beggar hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature longsword.
