His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Zaffrab is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Mortician arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

Personality: Quiet and reserved she prefers to listen than to talk. She will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. She does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the mountains to a summer home near a large cave. She would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the mountains due to the painful memories there. Althaea took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up warhammer and armor she uses now. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

History: He comes from a rich eastern family. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. After a long history of fighting, Shane and his spouse have recently divorced.

His long golden hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. His gray eyes are slightly larger than normal.

Personality: Friendly and accommodating he would invite many more into his home than his spouse would be comfortable with if they did not express concern about it. He is a great chef.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered north to less war torn lands. He was granted divine powers by his dying brother.

History: Moon was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Engraver work with an outfit from a few towns over. Engraver work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: He is erratic and paranoid. He believes illithids are coming to abduct people. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.

History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the south. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Tieflings in the south were limited. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and a rival would like him out of the picture
