History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Elysande was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Elysande grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Elysande. After a long history of fighting, Elysande and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: She is filled with cunning. She likes to feign weakness letting people think she is weak. To her fellows she is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Personality: He trusts no one. He is not readily capable for forgiveness and his ire never leaves him. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: Alex lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. As a very small child his family refused to pay dues to a local crime lord, who ordered them killed. His mother, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect him and cast a teleportation spell that whisked him away. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Georgina embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. She has a cruel streak; something she gained from her previous mentor. She harbors resentment against her former mentor.

History: When she was but 5 years old her parents immigrated from the east. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Blacksmith. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: Her tongue was cut out and she uses sign language. Animals are drawn to her, and she is able to talk to them.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a son. She was granted druidic powers by her dying sister.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister; and marry her sister to traveling adventurers
