History: Born in the west her family was never financially stable. She helped her father out around the business and became quite the natural. She struck the Animal Trainer job and began her own company from there.

Personality: She is enamored with her job. She loves it. She likes the challenge and she likes helping those less fortunate than her. The war was a terrible time for her, and Melissa does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Melissa was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Melissa grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Melissa. She has recently attracted an admirer that believes she's playing hard to get.
