History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Valafar took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up sword and armor he uses now. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Performer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Raer fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Shamash was raised in a hard working conservative environment. His childhood dream was to be a Sculptor, but he was a colossal failure. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Sculptor they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Merchant, and he later adopted a second daughter.
