Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Aline fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: While he is on the job, he is grim and serious. He understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of orcs may trigger it at times.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His parents were killed by orcs in a raid when he was still a young child. The orcs captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. if successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact

Personality: She is a woman who does what she needs to. She will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. To her fellows she is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.

History: She was born in the west, but her parents moved at a very young age to the east. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to orcs demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: To prove her worth to the world; and a deep hatred of orcs
