Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Bricklayer they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Layabout, and she later adopted a second daughter.

When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Bellfounder hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He struck the Bellfounder job and began his own company from there.
