History: Kothûg lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. She is obsessed with a lost civilization.

History: Astaro was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything.
