History: She was born at the edge of vast plains. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. After months of barely getting by, Pyra managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, she made her way to the capital under a new identity.

Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: She desires power and/or immortality; and she wants to meet her childhood hero
