Personality: She considers herself the protector of her home. She feels this is her duty and calling. She claims to be unscrupulous but at the end of the day she will do what she thinks is right.
History: Paela hails from a village terrorized by orcs. Her father was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: A deep hatred of orcs; and someone believes her a fraud

Personality: Raam speaks confidently about a variety of topics with grace. He is clearly well-traveled and educated. He is submissive, is generally bored by everything, but will take part in whatever people ask of him. He is by nature obliging.
History: Raam hails from a village terrorized by brigands. In his youth he was part of a gang. He got caught, but did not rat out his comrades and served his time in prison. He used his abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.
Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and to clean up the streets

Personality: He is witty, but his monotone delivery comes off as unnerving He constantly seizes attention wherever he goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. He likes to think of himself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.
History: Born in the west to a Miner, Jak learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Miner.
Motivation: Expand his business; and balancing his hectic life and new miner responsibilities is difficult

Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.
History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His family was turned out during the war. He and his family wandered south to less war torn lands. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.
Motivation: Many dire rats want him driven away; and he has money and likes to spend it

Personality: Deceptive and manipulative this eastern gal figured out how to best use her charms to convince people to do what she wants. She is very protective of her business, her home, and her spouse. She is willing to work with less than legal methods but maintains the front of legitimacy.
History: She was born on a small isolated farm. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.
Motivation: Revenge; and she possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal
