History: He was born at the edge of vast plains. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

History: Her arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever she goes.

Personality: She is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. She is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the west. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Stylist hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions

Personality: She likes to fabricate stories about her past exploits and how crazy she is, but in actuality she is rather bland. The war was a terrible time for her, and Vicky does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: To end her boredom.

Personality: She is overprotective of those who hire her services. She does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. She was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. Her spouse died of illness and she inherited everything. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for her; and to get a good night's sleep

Personality: She resents people who mock her appearance or her, so she has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. Around other people she will do her best to conceal her emotions and appear jolly.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Laborer. She has achieved small success as a Laborer.

Motivation: Expand her business.
