Personality: Here is a man who knows he is the smartest in the room. He talks down to others constantly. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.
History: Ar-Kaius was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He took every job he could get his hands on, but the opportunities for Half-Orcs in the south were limited. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
Motivation: He is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out; and he feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world

Description: This northern woman wears a robe, a symbol of magic around her neck, and a flail on her belt. Her clothes are grease stained in places. Her scarlet crest is knotted and matted. She has red eyes.
Personality: This woman loves writing and to teach people writing more than just about anything. She is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.
History: She was born in the north. She has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Perra fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and she is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

Description: He is a paragon of his species. He is larger and stronger than most Gnomes. His skin is light but he possesses many black ritualistic tattoos. He is dressed in a clean tan cloak covering his clean studded leather. He sports a flattop hair cut. Judging by the bloodshot nature of his eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine he has not slept for days.
Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the south. He does not mind isolation but does not hate company and attempts to receive them as best as possible.
History: Jebeddo was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Jebeddo was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Jebeddo decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.
Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and further expansion of business

Description: Dark and lean, she is a relatively plain woman. She wears loose pants and a collared shirt complete with sweater beneath her coat. She is bald on top and has large white tufts of hair around her ears. Her voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.
Personality: She believes there is no problem she cannot solve with sufficient elbow grease and persistence, if it is the best or most economic solution matters not. She is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with her old comrades. She has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.
History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent her parents made sure she got the chance to thrive. She was an adventurer many years ago and she formed a blood bond with her Elven companion (her 'brother'). She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.
Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and to reunite with her old friends

Description: He is lean but muscular and prefers to wear the grand gowns of high society. He carries his fan with him everywhere and carries himself as the perfect gentleman. He wears his hair in dreadlocks. His violet eyes dart from person to person.
Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. Gardain is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.
History: He was born into a rich family. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.
Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and he has money and likes to spend it

Description: This southern man is abnormally tall. He wears skinny pants and wears a white and yellow robe with the hood down. His whole body is exceptionally muscular. His golden hair, when down, is lengthy. His fierce green eyes like to dwell on things.
Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of goblins may trigger it at times.
History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: Revenge; and a deep hatred of goblins

Personality: Calm and collected, he is a well trained Guard. His home and work are filled with various knick knacks he has acquired through the years. He cares a great deal for his adopted teenage son.
History: Imsh lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. As a very small child his family refused to pay dues to a local crime lord, who ordered them killed. His father, a somewhat powerful mage sought to protect him and cast a teleportation spell that whisked him away. He became a Guard soon after.
