During her travels, Naivara and her party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Naivara discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Naivara fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his mother. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Seamstress they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Detective, and he later adopted a second daughter.

History: Nalaed was born with her father's beautiful face. At a young age she wooed the heart of her future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. She has since married many spouses, only to have them die. She claims to not be responsible.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love; and to share knowledge with the world

History: Born to a Courier, his mother struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Miner hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He tends to his Miner job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.
