When her father died while fighting illithids, the young Sorath began to lead the lost caravan. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by illithids. Sorath was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the illithids.

Recently a tribe of drow attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Paymon fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
