Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.
History: When he was but 4 years old his parents immigrated from the east. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, goblins burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the east, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying east to reunite his family. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: Revenge; and many goblins want him driven away

Personality: Chem is a sociable creature first and foremost. He loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. He can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. He misses his home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.
History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

She wears crescent spectacles with a black brim.
Personality: She is filled with cunning. She likes to feign weakness letting people think she is weak. She has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.
History: Her martial talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Her father was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
