Personality: He never swears and excessively uses polite adverbs when speaking. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.
History: He was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
Motivation: He feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help; and wants to have a good time and be beloved

Description: This late middle aged woman wears green painted combat armor at almost all times and is in decent physical shape. She has no crest. Her gold eyes dart around the room hyper actively observing anyone and anything.
Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.
History: She got into the Shipwright business at a young age. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Shipwright work with an outfit from a few towns over. Shipwright work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and expand her business

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of dire rats may trigger it at times.
History: Born to a Map Maker, his mother struggled to pay the bills. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and he wants revenge against dire rats

Description: He wears pastel robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a flail, but if one is not available he will default to his bow, but does not cut a very imposing figure. He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 5'1" when asserting himself. His beige fur, when down, is lengthy. His fierce amber eyes like to dwell on things.
Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.
History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Through the years after Shivering was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Shivering's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.
Motivation: He is terrified, and will act out of fear.

Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. She also is a firm believer in the womanly ideal.
History: Zanna was born the youngest of three triplets. Her family was turned out during the war. She and her family wandered south to less war torn lands. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Zanna fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister.

Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.
