His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. He has a long silver beard with little hanging trinkets. Personality: He is business-like. He takes instructions and follows them to the letter. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: A middle-aged man, he prefers to wear fine silks, though has several suits of combat armor for his hunting needs, and is pretty ugly. His wide-brimmed hat is riddled with cuts and holes. His eyes are likewise gray.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Faran embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-brother.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers; and he is greedy

Description: This man stands a little under 6'7" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. His silver hair is knotted and matted. His white unseeing eyes seem to look past you.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Mayor. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: Rimmon was born in the north. At a young age he loved to build and create. While he appears to be a normal Tiefling, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He has worked as a Mayor like his father before him.

He prefers to carry a sword, but if one is not available he will default to his scimitar. His fur is cut close to his head. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: Stoic and calm, he prefers to meditate than take action. He is stubborn though. He always likes to keep a trick up his sleeve. He likes to fight dirty and will kick and punch below the belt if he feels he even has a chance of losing.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions.

Personality: He is witty, but his monotone delivery comes off as unnerving He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.

History: Erky hails from a village terrorized by orcs. As a young child he wandered into the woods despite his father's warnings against it. Afterwards he claimed he had encountered orcs who tried to eat his hand. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and he desires to right it; and revenge

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.
