History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. After coming to the age of reason, Birel took it upon herself to study the arcane arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of freemasons.

History: She comes from a rich western family. A gifted student she started as a Fletcher, but she got bored and became a Bowyer. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Bowyer for the past few years.

Description: A man with a friendly, welcoming air about him, he wears well tailored suits and hats with beautiful decoration. He is almost always dressed for an outing in high society. He sports a flattop hair cut. He is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Personality: He believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. His job bores him to no end. He has decided to make it more interesting.

History: Ivellios was born the youngest of three triplets. His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Miller they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Navigator, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Regain custody of his daughter; and to unite with his sister

Description: This man wears dull red sweaters, loose brown pants, and alligator leather shoes. Beneath his sweater he keeps a concealed bastard sword, just in case, and sports empty pouches on his belt. His head has been shaved. His face is covered beneath a completely black helmet.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Darrow was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Darrow's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. Some 5 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Darrow never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Personality: He goes out his way to put a smile on everyone's face. There's no-one he won't accept into his heart. A true patriot, Ahvain would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to giants demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He's attracted to the PC; and a deep hatred of giants
