Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. History: She got into the Engraver business at a young age. Like her father and her brother before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Engraver. She tends to her Engraver job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations she has.

Personality: He has a very dry and sarcastic sense of humor. He is not one for noise or eating so much, which is in direct contrast with his big mouthed big gutted partner. His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He is a great chef.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Born in the north her family was never financially stable. In her 13th year, her parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Liftrasa alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: To prove her worth to the world; and wants to open a new tavern

Personality: She is inclined to make off color jokes and interpret anything that could be construed as such as innuendo. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: The child of western immigrants she idolized her father. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
