History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Korfel grew up listening to his mother's many stories. A freak accident while working with his Body Guard mother left him crippled. During his travels, Korfel and his party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Korfel discovered the rest of his party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Korfel fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing his own horrible transformation.

History: Her psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Through the years after Bethrynna was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Bethrynna's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Bethrynna and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: Purson was born the youngest of three triplets. After coming to the age of reason, Purson took it upon himself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
