History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Ilde was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. When Ilde reached her early adolescence her Dwarf father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. His childhood dream was to be a Mayor, but he was a colossal failure. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. Ovak is a bit of a follower. Usually she is manipulated by her sisters into helping them out, but recently she has become more of a free agent.

History: A powerful slaver made her what she is. Her childhood dream was to be a Navigator, but she was a colossal failure. She struck the Gardener job and began her own company from there.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
