When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Adept in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Vanuath will drive conversation. He cannot resist a sob story and will often dote over anyone who has one.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his father. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Barkeep work with an outfit from a few towns over. Barkeep work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg
