The dire rats captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his sons to still be retired.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. A freak accident while working with his Ruler mother left him crippled. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

She constantly seizes attention wherever she goes and has come to expect this respect from everyone. She likes to think of herself as merciful, but nonetheless is very strict.

History: She was born in a small plains village. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a daughter. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Unemployed for hire.

Motivation: She doesn't get along with people that don't share her tastes.

When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her daughters to still be retired.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.
