History: Umpen was born the youngest of three triplets. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Butcher they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Cartwright, and he later adopted a second son.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Alex embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. A friendly and beautiful Human, he is rarely seen without a few beauties around his arms. Though a playboy in all rights, he is no lame duck.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her father. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She left for the north, certain she would find work there.

Description: This slender woman stands about 6'3". She dresses well, typically a more casual-formal manner. Her crest, while still mostly blue, has prominent grey streaks. This gold eyed westerner is not easily forgotten.

Personality: She loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. As she has aged she has sought to do reparations for her actions as a youth. She is also making sure that her compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: Her arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. Recently she has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: She possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions

A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He has been saving his money to try and buy his brother's freedom.

Motivation: To be a Navigator again; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Description: She is wearing the road beaten gear of a warrior. Her silver crest has been sun bleached extensively. Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: She swings through moods quickly. One moment she is cool and collected, the next she is carried away by passions. More though she will beg to come along on any journeys. She will attempt to stowaway on any ship she can in the hopes that it will get her further away.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: She desires power and/or immortality; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark
