History: She was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. Her father took her hunting and taught her how to get in the mind of other creatures. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: He got into the Mayor business at a young age. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and balancing his hectic life and new mayor responsibilities is difficult

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Courier hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs.

The occasional robbery is her preferred attention getting crime, but she mainly uses her means for meeting her own perverse desires.

History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her father. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: She possesses a valuable artifact that the thieves guild wishes to steal; and she has decided she is irredeemable

He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
