Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: He was born in the north. In his 13th year, his parents were killed by a orcs raid, leaving Peren alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Personality: She is highly sensitive about her name. She loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. She is an amazing painter.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. While she appears to be a normal Gnome, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

History: Makaria hails from a village terrorized by illithids. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.
