Since his father passed away years ago, his mother had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. Being a Mortician kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 12 years.

History: When she was but 4 years old her parents immigrated from the east. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Miller. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Her first spouse was a Gardener, they had one daughter, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: To reunite with her absent mother.

Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He found a children's book about a Half-Elf Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has never given up on his poetry dream.

Personality: He is a pretentious jerk insisting that modern society is full of problems and should revert to a simpler time. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Aldous hails from a village terrorized by drow. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. When he grew older, he became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. He began work as a mercenary for hire. He would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.
