History: When he was but 5 years old his parents immigrated from the east. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Half-Elven activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Half-Elven doctor. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Personality: She resents people who mock her appearance or her, so she has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. As she has aged she has sought to do reparations for her actions as a youth. She is also making sure that her compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Her family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The father sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her father's willingness to do anything to win. She has built up a small fortune and can afford her own way.

Motivation: She is greedy; and seeks redemption

Description: This tall, slender woman is wearing a tight tan one piece outfit complete with pants, hood, and a cape. She wears a Stetson hat to cover her moderate length black hair. Her ears are large.

Personality: Abalaba hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her dancing career. She has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Personality: He is a Miner first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. In his 15th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Broce alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He tends to his Miner job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Miner responsibilities is difficult.

Personality: She is curt in most of her responses. She prefers to keep her word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. She is fiercely devoted to her mother, and views her mother's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-sister.

History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her mother. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister.

Description: A man with thick toned arms and a paunchy gut. He wears an amalgamation of clothes and depending on the season will wear more layers of the continuing hodge podge. His black hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his blue eyes.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He is accommodating to his spouse and as such limits his hospitality. He is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven himself a capable leader.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Taklinn has worked very hard to control his curse. He now mingles about in high society.

Motivation: Wants to work out more often.
