He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Interpreter for the past few years.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Egelina was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her mother was very strict, and drilled into her lessons on being the perfect lady. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.

History: Veit was raised in a hard working conservative environment. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Elven companion (his 'brother'). He has achieved small success as a Guard.

Personality: Nikki is depressed about a lot of things. She tends to be a nihilist. She refers to her adoptive father for almost all things she is unsure about, which are numerous. She is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Nikki lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the south, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the south for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. She has since lost track of the people in her past.
