History: She comes from a rich western family. When the war came and ruined her parents she was left adrift. She was a hard woman then and has only learned to fight more as time goes on. She now mingles about in high society.

Personality: He likes to brag about his accomplishments and constantly tries to beat others to the punch. His actions favor neither the good nor the evil, as he answers to a power that mortal men fail to acknowledge.

History: Bhevek hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. Some 2 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Bhevek never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: Gifted from a young age, Duergath studied abroad. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. A freak accident while working with his Spice Merchant mother left him crippled. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Personality: She considers herself a woman of culture and sophistication. She likes a good challenge to her wits. Flattery will make her almost putty in your hands.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Like her mother and her brother before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Scribe. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Scribe for hire.

Motivation: She made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and she feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world

Description: An older woman who does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when she can avoid it, she is not a threatening figure. Her white hair is braided into rings. Her fair skin shows little sign of her aristocratic breeding.

Personality: She is fixated on the number 88. She counts her steps and bites of food to keep in track with it. She seems to be used to being ignored and not questioned about it. She disdains her fellow westerners, claiming they make her look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: She seems to be bored by most things; and to find somewhere to settle down
