History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. A serious injury left her mother unemployed and in need of constant care. Her family became saddled with debt trying to care for her infirm mother. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: She was born into a rich family. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Galiena grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Galiena. She has never given up on her poetry dream.

History: The child of a Mortician, who enjoyed hunting, Nalaed was taken on many hunting expeditions. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Fax's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way west. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

History: Moon was born with her mother's beautiful face. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Butcher work with an outfit from a few towns over. Butcher work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. One night she noticed a nearby shooting star which she hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. She has done her darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.
