History: The child of southern immigrants she idolized her mother. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Valida was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister.

Personality: The woman has a huge range of feeling. She will range from being happy and joking with the occasional self put down to crying stating how she will be a better person from this day on. Despite her manner, she is extremely passionate and proud of her job, and she prides herself in being thorough and never missing a detail.

History: Her mother raised her in a mountain cabin. A gifted student she started as a Engraver, but she got bored and became a Fortune-teller. She now owns her own business.
