Personality: Barfa wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Adept, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Ulla was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She was taken from her home at a very young age. She has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Mason.

History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
