Personality: He is happy with his job as a Miller. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.
History: A powerful wizard made him what he is. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.
Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Miller responsibilities is difficult; and further expansion of business

Personality: A deeply religious woman she believes everything happens for a reason. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.
History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: Her religion dominates her actions.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.
History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. A freak accident while working with his Shipwright mother left him crippled. He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.
Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk; and he desires power and/or immortality

Her thin eyebrows rest above her beady green eyes.
Personality: She snorts whenever she laughs or is feeling confident. She always tries to repair and not replace. It was this mentality that drove her into the Adventurer business.
History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature mace.
Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Barber who has hired him part-time. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.
History: He was born several months after his father was called into army service. While he appears to be a normal Halfling, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.
Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. Fax enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.
History: His necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Layabout work with an outfit from a few towns over. Layabout work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He struck the Layabout job and began his own company from there.
Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and balancing his hectic life and new layabout responsibilities is difficult

Description: This tall, slender man wears silk and lounges about seductively. He keeps his brown hair in a flapper bob. He is very pretty but has cold, dead eyes.
Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.
History: Baern was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
Motivation: He will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact; and to share knowledge with the world
