History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Hugh grew up listening to his father's many stories. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Her parents enrolled her in a Ranger school at a young age so that she could practice her arcane talents. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Born in a small village she learned the ways of the warrior from her mother. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls.
