History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Rurik was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Personality: She loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from her. She is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Gnome in existence. She is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. Cursed with lycanthropy at a very young age, Meena has worked very hard to control her curse. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

Personality: She likes to make people angry or surprised. The war was a terrible time for her, and Tippletoe does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: She was raised in a island tribe. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: Simon was born the youngest of three triplets. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He also is a firm believer in the manly ideal.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He struck the Beggar job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: He feels the way he acts is they only way to get by in the world; and to be a spice merchant again

Personality: She is envious of other's things. She hoards treasure, art, food, wine, and anything that she so desires. She lacks restraint and is impulsive. She jumps in and acts without thinking all too often.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Miner. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

She has taken up work as a Bookbinder and fed both sides of the war false information with the goal of increasing casualties.
