Philomena Underbough, Female Halfling [Permalink]
Personal [hide]
Description: This dark-skinned female is dressed in a clean red cloak covering her clean studded leather. She is tall, broad shouldered and powerfully built. Her small hat is riddled with cuts and holes. Her amber eyes are slightly larger than normal.
Personality: Philomena is a sociable creature first and foremost. She loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. She can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. She spends most of her days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There she gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.
History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. She found a children's book about a Halfling Aristocrat who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. During her travels, Philomena and her party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Philomena discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Philomena fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.
