He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: To pay off his debts; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it

History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. She has had some formal music training, and achieved minor success. After a long history of fighting, Hrathy and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He helped his father out around the business and became quite the natural. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

History: Xanaphia hails from a village terrorized by giants. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by giants. Xanaphia was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the giants.
