History: Tethren hails from a village terrorized by goblins. His father disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his father, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Marry his brother to traveling adventurers; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She used her abilities to travel the world and help people.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her father always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. There was a wharf not far from home where she often wandered off to fish. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Jeweler for the past few years.
