History: He was born several months after his mother was called into army service. When Zook reached his early adolescence his Gnome mother passed away. History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Zook grew up listening to his father's many stories. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Zook grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Zook. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.
