History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Her mother was a soldier and died while she was still young. Matilda was left her mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. She hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure her.

History: Thamior hails from a village terrorized by orcs. Through the years after Thamior was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Thamior's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
