History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. At some point he was captured by orcs and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by orcs. Qualen was horrified and prayed that his father was alright. However, he heard that his father had died fighting off the orcs.

History: He was born into a rich family. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He now mingles about in high society.
