History: Leaf was born with his father's beautiful face. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He now mingles about in high society.

History: Kasdeya was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. Personality: While she is on the job, she is grim and serious. She understands how dangerous the world is and the need to stay safe. She is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure she is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Her divine talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She was granted divine powers by her dying brother.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: Thamior lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Being born in the east, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the east for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Mortician and was forced into it by his family; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

The war was a terrible time for her, and Bree does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Bree was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. She advanced relatively quickly due to her good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
