History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. Some 7 years later his spouse died after the birth of his daughter. Heartbroken, Baern never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his daughter whom he trained as his father had trained him before.

Personality: She is enamored with her job. She loves it. She likes the challenge and she likes helping those less fortunate than her. She has no love for corruption and racketeering and views those as crimes of the highest magnitude.

History: Sold as a small child to a wizard, Ubada was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her childhood dream was to be a Detective, but she was a colossal failure. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Ubada fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
