History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His druidic abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He was granted druidic powers by his dying sister.

Personality: She has always had a great fascination with Dragonborn culture. Her temper goes off on the smallest of things. She tends to lash out at those around her.
History: Born to a Mason, her mother struggled to pay the bills. She took every job she could get her hands on, but the opportunities for Dragonborns in the south were limited. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Description: An older man who wears tight fitting clothing which further accentuates his frame, he is not a threatening figure. With a patchy silver beard and wild silver hair. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.
Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Borun embodies much of what other species detest in the Halflings. He has a minor phobia of water and hates getting wet.
History: He was raised in a island tribe. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
Motivation: Someone believes him a fraud; and many illithids want him driven away

Personality: He is extraordinarily passive and rarely speaks, let alone speaks his mind. He plays an instrument quite well.
History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. Through the years after Sindri was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Sindri's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.
Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it; and he wants revenge against gnolls

Personality: Matilda is a sociable creature first and foremost. She loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. She can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. She has a hair trigger and will fly into rage over the tiniest perceived slights.
History: Matilda was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Ranger, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Ranger in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She found a children's book about a Human Ranger who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Gnomish artifacts is her passion.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Alice was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. Her father was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
